Wexford 3-13 Cork 3-06:Wexford won a thrilling All-Ireland senior camogie final to take their third title in a row against a Cork side whose brave challenge only faded in the dying stages at Croke Park.
Cork went in level at the break after a penalty from goalkeeper Aoife Murray and a goal from Síle Burns hauled them back into the game after a blistering start from the champions, courtest of scores from Ursula Jacob, Katrina Parrock and Kate Kelly.
Kelly and Jacob opened the second half with points for Wexford, before the latter appeared to push the game beyond Cork with goal that opened a five-point lead.
Seconds later, Katriona Mackey grabbed Cork's third as they looked to mount a fightback but their bubble was burst by stunning Jacob goal fired off the ground and into the top corner.
Wexford added another two scores for a seven-point winning margin.
Derry 3-12 Galway 3-12:An injury-time point from Rachel Monaghan ensured Galway took Derry to a replay in the intermediate final.
Kate McAnenly's penalty looked to have won it for Derry at the death but Monaghan won and converted a free that means the teams will be back to do it again on September 29th.
Meath 1-11 Down 1-9:Down suffered the heartbreak of defeat in the premier junior camogie final for the second time in 12 months, as Meath just held the upper hand in the early game.
John Davis’s charges were deserved winners but had to dig deep to overcome a resolute opposition driven on by the memory of last year’s narrow loss to Waterford.
