Irish boy band Westlife kept its place at the top of the British charts yesterday, to become the first act in a year to hang on at number one for longer than three weeks.

The single, I Have a Dream/ Seasons in the Sun, by the Louis Walsh-Ronan Keating managed quintet took the top Christmas spot and has held onto it for a fourth week.
