London - Around 5,000 people were evacuated from their homes yesterday after an unexploded second World War bomb was found ticking on a school building site. Bomb disposal experts were called in after the 500 kg device with a clock timer mechanism was found 23 feet below the surface where excavation had been taking place at the site at Hardens Mead, Chippenham, Wiltshire.
