Ireland should be vigilant about protecting its coastal resources, and should not make Canada's mistake of waiting till all the fish are gone. Such is the message from the premier of Newfoundland, Mr Brian Tobin, who is leading a trade delegation to the Republic this weekend.
Mr Tobin yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding on economic co operation between the Irish government and the government of Newfoundland and Labrador.
