A WARD sister in the coronary care unit of St Vincent's Hospital in Dublin has been named as the BOC Gases Critical Care Nurse of the Year for 1997.
Ms Mary Kenny was presented with a trophy and a cheque for £1,000, which she will use to fund further education in her nursing career.
The award was made at the Royal College of Physicians in Dublin and is run in conjunction with the Irish Nurses Organisation and the Irish Association of Critical Care Nurses.
