The US President George W Bush said this afternoon that US-led forces are "making good progress" towards disarming and toppling Saddam Hussein but warned "this war is far from over."
As US, British, and Australian forces push towards Baghdad, "our fighting units are facing the most desperate elements of a doomed regime," said Bush, who vowed: "We will be relentless in our pursuit of victory."
"Our military's making good progress in Iraq, yet this war is far from over," he told a packed hangar of cheering US troops.
