Victims of domestic violence should be allowed give evidence through video link, according to the Minister of State at the Office of the Tanaiste, Ms Eithne Fitzgerald. She said courts should be designed so that victims were not forced to sit beside, near or opposite their alleged abusers, and they should be allowed give evidence from behind a screen.
