Juan Sebastian Veron insists he is happy at Manchester United - at least for now - as reports continue to suggest the Argentinian will return to Italy.
Veron has persistently been linked with a return to Serie A after struggling to find his form in the Premiership with former club Lazio and Juventus among the names in the frame.
But in an interview with the Corriere dello Sporttoday, Veron said: "I have a three-year contract with Manchester and I am fine in England. Finally I am proving my worth in a difficult season.
"Now that I have settled I have no intention of leaving and my agent has maintained that he has not received any telephone calls from Juventus."
If Veron were to leave Old Trafford, his priority would be to return to Rome.
"In any case, if my relationship with Manchester should end, I would give preference to Lazio for emotional reasons," he said.
"I am very close to the fans, I am a friend of [Lazio coach] Roberto Mancini and I won a lot with Eriksson. It would be like returning home.
"I insist in June I will reflect on my future, but I want to stay in Manchester. We can really focus on big challenges now".
Veron also played down speculation regarding Manchester United team-mate Ryan Giggs, a supposed target of Italian clubs.
