Quito - An American oil worker, one of the 10 foreign workers kidnapped and held for ransom in Ecuador's Amazon jungle region in October 2000, was found dead on Wednesday, a US embassy spokesman said yesterday.
Mr Ron Sanders, a US citizen, was held captive for more than three months by an unidentified armed group, the embassy said.
