UBS Investment Bank was ranked number one for the fifth consecutive year in Institutional Investor's2006 all-Europe research survey, the trade magazine said today.
Citigroup came in second place in the awards, based on the views of fund managers and considered the industry's benchmark.
The rest of the top ten comprised Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers, Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Dresdner Kleinwort Wassertsein, JPMorgan and ABN Amro.
