GAA round-up: Points from Tommy McGuigan and Enda McGinley sealed a win for Tyrone in their rescheduled national football league division one clash against Donegal in Edendork.
After a tit-for-tat battle key moments went the way of Mickey Harte's side at the death, most notably when the scores were level and Donegal corner back Frank McGlynn was adjudged to have picked the ball off the ground. McGuigan gratefully slotted the free.
Moments later when Niall Gormley's attempt of an equaliser came back off the post and McGinley ensured the win at the other end.
There was further fixture problems earlier today when Armagh's division two fixture with Dublin in Crossmaglen was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The referee's call, an hour before the game, mystified Armagh coach Benny Tierney, who later claimed to have played in far worse conditions and criticised the late decision.
In Walsh Park, Cork edged out Waterford by a point in their hurling division one clash.
Both sides had already qualified for the league play-offs but after the 2-17 to 1-19 win, Cork will now face Limerick in the quarter-final, while Waterford meet Tipperary.
