Two viable explosives devices were made safe by the Army in Dublin this evening.

Two viable explosives devices were made safe by the Army in Dublin this evening.

They were called by gardaí to waste ground at the end of Harristown Lane in Finglas at 3.10pm.

The scene was declared safe at 4.20pm without the need for a controlled explosion.

The devices were removed to a military installation for further examination before being handed over to the gardaí.
