Two students viciously beaten by Belfast gang

Police are investigating a vicious assault on two students in south Belfast last night by a gang of six men.

Police are investigating a vicious assault on two students in south Belfast last night by a gang of six men.

The two students were attacked in a house in Fortuna Street off the Donegal Road at around 7.00 pm by the gang, who were armed with sledgehammers and clubs.

One man, aged 21, was left with a fractured skull, a broken jaw, two broken arms and severe cuts and bruises. The other man, aged 20, also suffered serious cuts and bruises and a suspected broken arm.
