Gardaí are searching for two youths who stole an ambulance in west Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
The ambulance crew was tending to a patient in the Killtalawn road in Tallaght when the two teenagers jumped into their vehicle and drove off.
They escaped, despite the efforts of a neighbour to stop them, but the ambulance was found abandoned a short time later. There was no damage reported.
The patient was tended to in his home.
