Two men were arrested this morning in connection with last month’s killing of Corkman Mr Ciaráin O'Flynn.

There are now four men in custody in relation to the case.

Two other men - one in his 40s, the other in his 50s - were arrested yesterday morning under section 30 of the Offences against the State Act in connection with the killing.

The Garda followed these up today by arresting two men aged between 30 and 50. The four men were taken to Mayfield Garda Station in Cork.

Mr Flynn was killed on the June 7th. He heard a knock on his front door and, as he went to open it, a shot was fired through the glass panel, killing him.
