Two men rob petrol station in Tipperary

A petrol station in Parkmore in Roscrea, Co Tipperary, was robbed early this morning

A petrol station in Parkmore in Roscrea, Co Tipperary, was robbed early this morning. Cigarettes and a small amount of cash were stolen.

The robbery happened at about 00.30 a.m. when two men wearing balaclavas attacked the manager of the station with iron bars as he was locking up to go home.

The manager was tied up before the men escaped by car.
