Two men injured in serious Belfast assault

Two men have been seriously assaulted in an alercation outside a restaurant in Belfast city centre.

Two men have been seriously assaulted in an alercation outside a restaurant in Belfast city centre.

The victims were confronted by a group of men at around 2.50 a.m. near Bridge Street.

One man was struck in the head with a bottle while the other is understood to have sustained "serious facial injuries". One of the men remains in hospital today but his condition is said to be stable.
