Police in Northern Ireland today arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with the attempted murder of a man in his fifties in south Belfast.

He is the second man arrested in connection with the incident at Ireton Street on Sunday evening. A man in his forties remains in custody having been arrested last night.

The injured man was assaulted before an attack before an arson attack on a house in the area.
