Gardaí are investigating two fatal road collisions in counties Dublin and Cavan this morning.
The first accident happened at the junction of the Long Mile Road and the Naas Road at 7.30am.
A male motor cyclist in his early 50's was fatally injured when his bike was in collision with a truck.
Gardaí in Bailieboro, Co. Cavan, are investigating a single vehicle accident which claimed the life of the male driver.
The accident happened this morning on the main Cavan to Virginia Road about 1km from Virginia, at around 8am.
