Two Cork men, both fathers of four children, died in separate road accidents at the weekend. Mr Cyril P. Moore, of Windsor Hill, Glounthaune, died yesterday morning after his car veered across a newly-built section of motorway and collided with an oncoming ESB truck. The accident occurred at 7.40 a.m. The truck driver and a passenger were taken to hospital, where their condition was described as "not serious".

Mr Peter Foley (66), from Lisheen, Ballyhooley, near Fermoy, Co Cork, died after his car collided with a tractor at Knockananig.
