Two men have been arrested following the seizure of stolen whiskey valued at about €250,000.

Two men have been arrested following the seizure of stolen whiskey valued at about €250,000.

Gardaí from Tallaght, assisted by Customs Officers, raided premises in the Cookstown Industrial Estate in Dublin 24 at about 10.00am today and discovered the haul, which had been stolen in the capital recently.

The two men, both of whom are in their early 20s, were taken to Tallaght Garda station where they are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
