Police in the North have arrested a man in his 30s and a woman in her 50s in connection with the murders of two British soldiers in Antrim town last March, writes Dan Keenan.
The two were being questioned about the shootings of Patrick Azimkar (21) and Mark Quinsey (23) at the gates of Massereene barracks as they received a delivery of pizzas. They were due to deploy to Afghanistan just hours after the Real IRA attack in which more than 60 shots were fired and four others, including two pizza delivery staff, were injured.
The arrests bring the total of those detained to 14. Detectives have held 12 individuals and two of them have been subsequently rearrested.
