Two people are being questioned by gardaí following the seizure of heroin with an estimated street value of €2,000,000 in Dublin yesterday.

A man in his 40s and a woman in her 30s were arrested  by officers from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation when the drugs were found in a car on Baldoyle Road in north Dublin yesterday afternoon.

Six kilos of the drug were discovered.

They were taken to Santry Garda Station.
