Gardaí investigating the activities of dissident republicans have arrested two men in Limerick City.
The men, aged 33 and 35, were arrested last night, and are both understood to be from Limerick.
They were travelling by car in the Ballysimon area last night when they were stopped and questioned following a Garda surveillance operation.
The car was searched and gardaí seized a number of items.Garda ballistics experts are also examining the vehicle.
