Two people are in police custody in the North following a seizure of arms and drugs in Belfast this morning.

Two people are in police custody in the North following a seizure of arms and drugs in Belfast this morning.

A man and a woman were arrested following the discovery in a house on Westland Way in the Oldpark area of the city at 9am.

A sawn-off shotgun, a handgun, ammunition and a quantity of unspecified drugs were found in what the PSNI say was a planned operation.
