Two youths are due in court in Omagh today charged in connection with an alleged plot to fire bomb a supermarket.

Two youths are due in court in Omagh today charged in connection with an alleged plot to fire bomb a supermarket.

The pair, aged 19 and 17, are accused of possessing explosives with intent to endanger life or property.

They were arrested by police during a series of raids in Strabane, Co Tyrone, on Wednesday.

The charges relate to an incendiary device found at a Safeways branch in the town in January.

Both suspects are due to appear before Omagh Magistrates Court tomorrow.
