A 31-year-old man died in a two-car collision at Money more, Co Derry, yesterday morning. The accident occurred at the junction of Smith Street and Circular Road, Moneymore, shortly after 8 a.m. The driver of the second vehicle was not seriously injured.
A woman in her eighties was killed when the car in which she was a passenger collided with a van at Mill Hill near Castlewellan, Co Down, yesterday evening.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital with head injuries and the van driver received treatment for shock.
