Kent - A seven-month-old baby is fighting for his life in hospital after being admitted with meningitis

Kent - A seven-month-old baby is fighting for his life in hospital after being admitted with meningitis. He was one of two unrelated children from Thanet in east Kent who were admitted to hospital in Margate suffering from meningococcal meningitis. The baby, described as critical, was transferred last night to Guy's Hospital in London after his condition deteriorated. The boy was said to be stable.
