Gardaí have arrested two men following the seizure of £20,000 worth of ecstasy tablets in Sligo last night.
As part of an ongoing investigation, gardaí stopped a car in the Carraroe area in Sligo at about 11.30 p.m. About 2,000 ecstasy tablets, with a street value of £20,000, were recovered.
Two men were arrested and are being detained at Sligo Garda Station under Section Two of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act, a garda spokeswoman said.
The investigation is ongoing.
