Twenty-five people were deported from Ireland last night.

Twenty-five people were deported from Ireland last night.

A flight from Dublin departed for Madrid last night carrying 11 men, five women and nine children en route to Lagos in Nigeria.

In addition to a Garda escort on the flight medical personnel including a doctor and nurse also travelled on the plane.

The operation was carried out by the Garda National Immigration Bureau and the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service.
