Istanbul - The former German chancellor, Dr Helmut Kohl, visited Turkey at the weekend to win the hand of a Turkish woman in marriage for his son, Peter. An aide of a Turkish businessman, Mr Kemal Sozen, said yesterday that Mr Kohl had spent two days in Istanbul and had won permission for his son to marry Ms Elif Sozen.
