RTÉ has extended sympathy to Ryan Tubridy and his family following the death of his father, Pat.
Dr Tubridy died yesterday morning following a short illness.
Tubridy will not be presenting his RTÉ 2fm radio programme for the remainder of this week. The programme will be presented by Dave Fanning.
Nor will he be presenting The Late Late Show tomorrow evening, when it will be hosted by Pat Kenny.
