Lorry drivers are planning to boycott the newly opened Drogheda by-pass over toll costs, it emerged today.
The drivers, represented by the Irish Road Haulage Association (IRHA), say the tolls on the road are too high.
Spokesman for the IRHA Mr James Quinn, told ireland.com that hauliers could not afford the charges as it stretched their "margins of business".
Mr Quinn said: "The congestion truck drivers face elsewhere limit the benefits of the by-pass. Drivers are going from one traffic jam to the next".
