There were severe traffic delays on the main Dublin-Belfast road yesterday after a refuse truck crashed into a house in Drogheda just after noon. The front of the truck hit the front door of the terraced home on George's Street and traffic was held up for over three hours. The driver of the truck was treated for shock.

Two months ago the house next door was badly damaged when a lorry lost control and ran into it.
