Three Leeds players are set to stay behind when the squad set off tomorrow for a tour of the Far East and Australia.
David Batty and Gary Kelly will definitely miss the pre-season trip, while an Achilles injury is expected to prevent Seth Johnson from travelling.
Batty has been excused the 10-day tour to China, Thailand and Australia due to his fear of flying, while Kelly is carrying an injury.
Johnson told Leeds' official website: "It shouldn't be a problem for the start of the season providing I let it settle it down now."
