Nairobi - The trial of a former game warden charged with the murder of British tourist, Julie Ward, due to open yesterday, has been delayed by up to a month for procedural reasons, a defence lawyer said.

The burnt and mutilated body of Ms Ward (28) was found in the Masai Mara game reserve in south-western Kenya in September 1988.
