Travellers were ordered by the High Court yesterday to leave a 70-acre site which is being developed as a science park in Co Dublin.

Mr Conor Kearney, for Mr David Daly, owner of the site at Crowcastle, Swords, said Travellers had entered on Tuesday and placed caravans and vehicles on the main distributor road which joins the main Dublin-Belfast road.

In an affidavit, Mr Niall Lawless, the site project manager, said many heavy vehicles used the road. The Travellers were in danger of being injured as they were in the middle of the road.
