Racing: Tramore will hold another inspection at 8am to assess whether tomorrow's New Year' Day meeting will go ahead.
Although today's card at the Co Waterford venue was washed out, officials checked the course at 2pm and felt their could be scope for improvement in the morning.
"They are going to give the meeting every chance by making a few arrangements to the track," explained Turf Club spokesman Cliff Noone.
"There are one or two areas they are worried about, but it is drying out at the moment."
