Gardaí are investigating two separate assaults in Tralee last night, both of which involved the use of knives.

Gardaí are investigating two separate assaults in Tralee last night, both of which involved the use of knives.

A Polish man in his 20s was stabbed shortly before midnight at a house in Oakview Village near Tralee’s dog track.

At 5.00am, gardaí were called to the Marina Apartments, where a 23-year-old man had been stabbed a number of times.

Gardaí said the two men were both in a stable condition at Kerry General Hospital, where their injuries were described as “not life threatening”.

The two incidents are not believed to be linked.
