Ricky Hatton's trainer Billy Graham has rubbished claims the duo could be set to end their partnership.

Ricky Hatton's trainer Billy Graham has rubbished claims the duo could be set to end their partnership.

Reports had claimed 29-year-old Hatton was contemplating changes to his team after his first defeat at the hands of Floyd Mayweather earlier this month, but Graham insists he will remain in the Mancunian's corner.

"I'm really angry about this," Graham told the

Mail on Sunday

. "It's not true and I aim to get to the bottom of it. These stories have been denied by Ricky and I'd like to know where they've come from."

He added: "I tend to leave Ricky alone after a fight, but I saw him a couple of times in Las Vegas and he never said anything to me about this.

"I would have been able to tell if he was thinking about it.

"I was devastated after the fight. An American friend contacted me to tell me about stories that me and Ricky were going to split up. They're definitely not true."
