MOTORISTS commuting into Galway city from the west face over two weeks of traffic chaos following an announcement that one of the main arteries into the city is to be closed off today for 17 days.

Kingston Road, which links south Connemara and the Knocknacarra suburb with the city centre, will be closed until May 9th for resurfacing.
