The number of tourists visiting Ireland rose by 11.2 per cent to 3

The number of tourists visiting Ireland rose by 11.2 per cent to 3.8 million for the first nine months of this year compared to the same period in 1995, according the new figures from the Central Statistics Office. Revenue of £777 million for the first half of the year represents an increase of 16.6 per cent on last year.
