Residents of the Co Armagh village of Bessbrook have again been confronted with concrete bollards on a main access road, as the British army increased security around its military and helicopter base there in the wake of the Lisburn barracks bombing.

The Bessbrook base is the main operational base for army helicopters in the Armagh region and is said to be the busiest heliport in Europe.
