Three men in their late teens have been released without charge following an incident in Westport, Co Mayo, on Sunday night in which a 17-year-old man was stabbed.
A file is being prepared for the DPP.
Gardaí in are appealing for witnesses following the serious assault which occurred at around 11pm at Railway Walk.
The victim was taken by ambulance to Mayo General Hospital where his condition is described as stable.
