Three people are being questioned by gardai today about a €70,000 cocaine haul in Dublin.

Three people are being questioned by gardai today about a €70,000 cocaine haul in Dublin.

Gardaí seized over a kilo of the drug in a raid on a house in the Deansrath area of Clondalkin at around 9pm last night.

A woman in her 30s was arrested at the address and taken to Store Street garda station. She was detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.

Gardai said the search of the house was a follow-up operation to the arrest of two men in the Parkgate Street area of the city earlier that evening at 5.20pm.

The men, aged 40 and 44 respectively, have also been detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act at Store Street station.

Last weekend, officers seized drugs with a total street value of €4.5 million in south Dublin raids.
