Two men in their late teens were injured in a punishment shooting in the Fairview Walk district of Belfast yesterday evening. Both men received a single gunshot wound to the left calf after being bundled into a car at the Shore Road area.

A man was wounded in the ankle in what is believed to be a punishment shooting in the Glenveagh district of Belfast last night. Four individuals were involved in the incident, according to the RUC.

Meanwhile, three men in their early 20s were recovering in hospital after two paramilitary-style attacks on Thursday.

A 21-year-old man was dragged into an alley off Mervue Street in north Belfast by three masked men and shot once in the left leg, and two men were shot in the back of the knee after being attacked in the Forfar Street area of west Belfast.
