Three hurt as police car rammed in Derry

Three members of the PSNI were injured when their vehicle was rammed in Derry this morning.

Three members of the PSNI were injured when their vehicle was rammed in Derry this morning.

The officers had signalled for a car to pull over on the Buncrana Road at about 3.20 a.m. and pulled in front of it in a lay-by.

The police car was rammed from behind as the officers left their car. A spokesperson for the PSNI said all three officers were treated for minorinjuries.

Two youths were later arrested.
