Mr Gerard Murnin (41) from Saul, Co Down, died after a collision on the Ballyduggan Road in Downpatrick at around 2.30 a.m. yesterday. Two cars and minibus were involved in the accident.

A 22-year-old man died after a road accident at Riverside Road in Ballynahinch, Co Down, at 6.45 a.m. yesterday.

He was Mr Brian Dickson from Back Road, Carghycreevy, Co Down. The body of a male cyclist was discovered on the Lyle Hill Road near Templepatrick, Co Antrim. A post-mortem is to be held.
