Harare - Violent anti-government riots continued to rock Harare for the third day yesterday with growing charges of unwarranted violence being meted out by police and army troops, Andrew Meldrum reports.

The army troops are blamed for brutally punishing residents for living in areas where the demonstrations took place. Four journalists were also beaten.
