While 95 per cent of people say they are somewhat satisfied, satisfied or very satisfied with their family and personal life, a considerable number are experiencing stress despite their reported satisfaction. Those most likely to be stressed were employed women in higher socio-economic groups, and were aged 35 to 49, pointing to the average middle-class working mother.
